- Spacing: Leave at least two fingers’ width between empanadas to ensure even heat circulation.
- Dry Heat: If your oven has a humidity setting, disable it and bake using dry heat.
- Frozen Empanadas: Once a box is opened, handle them carefully to avoid breakage. When fewer than 3 remain, transfer them to a bag for better protection, especially in vertical freezers.
- From Defrosted: Allow the empanadas to thaw in the fridge overnight. Reheat in a medium oven at 180°C (356°F) for 2 minutes.
- From Frozen: Heat in the oven at 160-170°C (320-338°F) for 4-5 minutes to avoid overcooking.
Absolutely! Place your empanadas in the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 200ºC:
- 1 to 2 empanadas: Heat for 6 minutes.
- 3 to 4 empanadas: Heat for 7 minutes.
- 5 to 6 empanadas: Heat for 8 minutes.
We don’t recommend it. Microwaving can affect their texture and quality, so it’s best to avoid this method.
For any cooking method, monitor closely to achieve the best texture and flavour. Let them rest for 1 minute, and enjoy your Sabrosa Empanadas!
